The purchase was agreed back in 2020 and during the pandemic, the crew maintained the vessel in operational condition and it is now based in Punta Arenas providing logistics support to Antarctic bases and also being available for towage and salvage operations in the region. The 165 bollard pull vessel was built by Fergusson Shipyard in Scotland in 2000 and worked mainly in the North Sea, including for previous owner and fellow ISU member Buksér og Berging as BB Troll.
